Cub Scouts

The middle section belonging
to a Scout Group.

Formed in 1916, they celebrate their 90th
Anniversary in 2006.
They explore the outdoors; go
camping;
and, try new things.

Scouts
|
10½ to 14 years
The senior section of a Scout Group.
|
Formed in 1907, the centenary of Scouting will be celebrated
in style from 1st January 2007.
They hike; sail; climb; camp;
and,
lots of other things too!

Explorer Scouts
|
14 to 18 years
This section is led by the Scout District.
|
This section was formed in 2002 following a review
of Scouting.
Archery; abseiling; expeditions; gliding; mountain
biking; and; Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme are but a few of
their activities!

Young Leaders
|
14 to 18 years
This section is led by the Scout District.
|
Young Leaders are invested Explorer Scouts who wish
to become young leaders, working with the younger aged sections.
|

Network Scouts
|
18 to 25 years
This section is led by the
Scout
County.
|
This section was formed in 2002 following a review
of Scouting.
They partake of their own training scheme, in addition
to working with other sections, as leaders and supporters.

The District Fellowship
|
18 to 100+ years!
This section is led by the Scout District.
|
Anyone may become a member of the Fellowship, be they
a uniformed leader or helper of Scouting.
They support events,activities and sections within
the District; and, have their
own very busy social events!
